Ballet 1 (23-24 School Year)

Children attend Discover Ballet classes to continue to develop movement skills introduced in the Discover Dance classes. We also introduce the steps, positions, music and stories of classical ballet. Focus is placed on learning the correct posture and alignment necessary for more complicated movements. Initial placement in the Discover Ballet classes is based on age. Subsequent progresssion through the levels is made on an individual basis. Students enrolling in Ballet 1 must be 6 on or before August 15, 2023.
