It’s why we created a new place that everyone can call their own, and this weekend, we celebrate that sense of “Shelter” that we strive to provide to all. Featuring Julia Adam’s Devil’s Fruit with its beautiful botanical projections on giant umbrellas, and Uri Sand’s Salve that brings people together in hope from adversity. Plus a new work from Ballet Master Brian McSween.

× Be the first to open the 2018-19 season with Ballet Memphis and a special one-night only event. Enjoy drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres in the Dream studio beginning at 6p, followed by the first performance of the season by your Ballet Memphis professional dancers in the soaring Fly studio at 7:30p.

Our season opener performance is themed "Shelter," giving a nod to both our new home and all those that made it possible, as well as our open arms and open possibilities to all in our community. The performance will feature Salve, by Uri Sands from our Places series and Devil's Fruit by Julia Adam from our River Project series, paired with a new work by Ballet Master Brian McSween who brilliantly closed our spring Small Places performance with his new work, American Circus.

$125 per person or $200 per couple. Special limited seating on the balcony with champagne and dessert, $250 per person.
